Homemade Banana Ice Cream

I love ice cream but I don't want to feed my son too much sugar. My easy, healthy, and delicious alternative; frozen bananas mixed with a little bit of milk for banana ice cream, my son likes it plain and I added some nuts to mine.

Here is the finished product, it takes maybe a minute but probably closer to 30 seconds to blend together using a processor, I am pretty sure you could also do it in a blender. Now I want to see if I can do a sorbet with blue berries and maybe something with apple...

Homemade Banana Ice Cream

Need a processor or blender

Ingredients:

2 Frozen Bananas (I like to peel and cut my bananas before putting them in the freezer)
2 T Milk (any kind)

Directions:

Place frozen banana chunks into the processor, process until it looks like tiny beads (think Dippin' Dots)
Add milk process into ice cream, add more milk if necessary.
Enjoy!

Do you get creative in the kitchen to lower the sugar intake for your kids?
