How to Mend an Underwire Bra

A post from necessity after I spent the day being stabbed by my nursing bra. I have nursing bras which are expensive so when the wire started popping out I did not want to toss it because I haven't had it for very long. Enter the good old fashioned needle and thread.

How to thread your needle:
If you aren't familiar with threading a needle there is a nifty little tool shown in the pictures, it is super flexible and gives you a larger target to stick the thread through. You put the tool through the eye of the needle thread the tool then pull it back through the eye of the needle and you have a threaded needle. Knot it and you're ready to go!

It was a quick mend for my bra. I shoved the wire back into place and put in my stitches, I probably put in about 15 stitches because I really don't want to have to do it again. It's not the prettiest look, my thread was brown and my bra is black, but it isn't visible to the eye and I am no longer being stabbed so I am a happy mom!
